Silvian Hamstra

Silvian Hamstra is from The Netherlands. In his younger years the Lord clearly called him for God’s mission in Africa. With that call, he also felt the Lord calling him to prepare well. Therefore, before Africa he attended a Missionary Training College (MTC) in Europe, similar to Anchor. He rejoices in how the Lord used the school to prepare him so well in so many areas. He and his wife Thamar joined WEC International and humbly served the Lord in The Gambia, Senegal, and The Netherlands. By God’s grace they now serve the Africa region as WEC’s Area Directors for Africa, using the knowledge and skills learned at the MTC.
